Winter School 2022 kicked off

Winter School 2022 on “Application of Field and Remote Sensing Techniques for Snow and Glacier Studies” has been kicked off on 13th October 2022 at Kathmandu Center for Research and Education, Chinese Academy of Sciences-Tribhuvan University (KCRE, CAS-TU) with the opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Shiva Lal Bhusal, Rector, TU and remarks by Prof. Dr. Binil Aryal, Dean, Institute of Science and Technology, TU. The program is organized by Central Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (CDHM), Tribhuvan University (TU) in collaboration with Institute of Research for Development, France (IRD-France) and KCRE, CAS-TU. It is a part of a new initiative “CAPAcity BuiLding in glacio-hydro-meteorological rEsearch in NEPAL (CAPABLE-NEPAL)”, supported by IRD-France to strengthen the capacity of young researchers in understanding the cryospheric process in the high-mountains.
